I’m basically preaching to the choir for my awesome readers who bike (and run and swim and do other myriad of outdoor fun activities), but in the spirit of sharing…
After years of wanting a bike to exercise and commute with, I finally—FINALLY—purchased one. Granted, I don’t have classes to go to anymore, I’m looking forward to the eventual commute to and from work. But baby steps—casual fun rides/exercise runs on the gazillion trails that surround me in the D.C. region first.
For the longest time, whenever we went to an “American” restaurant I always ordered from the appetizer section of the menus. The portions were perfect for me, and I hated seeing food go to waste. Now, fully cognizant of my food intolerances, it’s come to the point where I scour the menu for gluten free, or potentially non-stomach-debilitating items, like a salad and hoping that the dish isn’t some supersized beast with enough greens to feed a colony of dwarf bunnies.
